Lacrosse

Sewickley Valley Lacrosse (SVLAX) was formed to encourage early participation in and enthusiasm for lacrosse through age-appropriate instruction for boys and girls in grades 1st through 6th.

The boys Middle School program (7th / 8th grade) is also run through SV LAX.

1st grade - 6th grade at Sewickley Academy's Frick Field (turf)

GIRLS

Sept 28, Oct 5, Oct 12

1/2 grade: 12-1 pm

3/4 grade: 10-11 am

5/6 grade: 2-3:30 pm *Joining 3rd/4th grade on 9/28 only*

BOYS

Sept 28, Oct 5, Oct 19

1/2 grade AND 3/4 grade 1-2 pm

Sept 28 and Oct 5

5/6 grade boys 3:30-5 pm

Our Goals

Promote the growth of girls’ and boys’ lacrosse

Field competitive teams by developing advanced skills and knowledge of the sport, confidence, teamwork and good sportsmanship

Have fun in a safe, productive environment

SVLAX is a non-profit, lacrosse association for the Quaker Valley School District and surrounding communities. Started in 2004, we have both spring and fall programs.

All programs are funded by registration fees, private donations and the support of volunteers.
